We are a global automotive manufacturer and leading technology company, proudly built around two iconic British car brands and driven by a desire to deliver class-leading vehicles, providing experiences people love, for life. At heart we are a British company and we value our unique heritage, but today we are an international business with a truly global footprint.

Tata Motors, India’s largest automotive manufacturer, has been our parent company since 2008, and in 2013 the Jaguar and Land Rover brands merged to form one unified company. 

Jaguar Land Rover employs some 40,000 people across the world, with vehicle assembly plants in the UK, China, Brazil, India, Austria and Slovakia. We support a further 260,000 people through our retailer network, suppliers and local businesses and, in 2019, the business sold 557,706 vehicles in 127 countries.

We have a growing portfolio of electrified products across our model range, embracing fully electric, plug-in hybrid and mild-hybrid vehicles, as well as continuing to offer the latest diesel and petrol engines, giving our customers even more choice.
