EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, STRATEGY & SUSTAINABILITY
François was appointed to the role of Jaguar Land Rover's Executive Director, Strategy & Sustainability, in June 2021, with the goal of accelerating the company's strategic intent around clean mobility and connectivity.
François has held a number of leadership positions within the automotive industry and investment banking, across both Europe and Latin America, and has extensive experience in developing sustainable value chains, circular economy, and digital ecosystems and services.
François’ most recent role was Senior Vice President, Transformation and Organisation for Groupe Renault, focusing on the creation of solutions and systems to shape the future of mobility. He also chaired Alliance Ventures as Alliance Global VP, Ventures and Open Innovation – a fund that grew to include three ‘unicorns’.
He has also previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer for both Nissan do Brazil Automóveis and Société Générale Brazil.
François will use his passion and expertise to build Jaguar Land Rover’s capabilities in new mobility services, sustainability, and digitalisation as head of the new Strategy & Sustainability team.
In 2010, he was awarded ‘La Légion d’Honneur’, one of the highest honours from the French Republic. He has a bachelor's degree in Corporate Business and Administration from HEC Paris and is also a board member on Brazilian Education NGOs; ‘Gol de Letra’ and ‘Casa do Zezinho’. Francois is married and has homes in both London and Paris. Outside of work, he loves to travel and enjoys meeting new people and discovering new cultures.
