At Jaguar Land Rover, we are passionate about our people. They are at the heart of our business. We are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive culture that is representative of our global customers and the society in which we live; a culture in which every one of our employees can bring their authentic self to work, and reach their full potential.

In the face of an ever changing society and challenging global conditions we must all adapt, change, rethink and move forwards in ever more astute ways as we strive to be a business that meets the aspirations of our increasingly diverse customers.

Diversity and Inclusion

We take a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination in any form.

We aim to:

1. Foster a culture of belonging, inclusion and respect for all - We will have a culture where all our people feel they belong

2. Drive progressive policies, benefits and support - We will win the war on talent; by attracting, developing and retaining the best talent

3. Engage employees to help deliver the plan - We will harness the power of an engaged workforce, collaborating to accelerate our progress on the D&I Agenda

We proudly support the growing number of active diversity and inclusion employee-led networks with more than 3,100 members across them.

Our allyship campaign enables our people to use their individual position to amplify the voices of a minority group by becoming an ally to colleagues from different ethnic backgrounds and cultural heritages to their own.  Through allyship, we aim to encourage continuous education and positive conversations to address knowledge gaps, ignorance and unconscious bias and foster an inclusive community.

We are proud to champion racial equality in the workplace as the first UK car manufacturer to sign the Business in the Community 'Race at Work Charter'.

We are proud to partner with a number of external organisations to drive improvements across our business in Diversity & Inclusion.

By embedding diversity within our culture and workforce, we aim to create products, communications and experiences that are more inclusive for our people, our customers, and wider society.

However, to truly enable as many people as possible to participate in society with ease, ambition and autonomy, we want to do more. That’s why, as part of our pledge to work even more closely with disabled people we have joined The Valuable 500, a global movement dedicated to ensuring disability inclusion in business.

The Valuable 500 aims to unlock the true potential of people living with disabilities across the world. The organisation was founded by campaigner and social entrepreneur Caroline Casey, who is legally blind and is committed to safeguarding the topic of disability inclusion at the top of business leadership agendas.

As part of our commitment to the Valuable 500 we have pledged:

To conduct regular research with individuals who have disabilities, impairments and mobility needs, with the aim of creating actionable insights that make our products, communications and experiences more inclusive.
