Supporting our communities through employee volunteering

Supporting our communities
through employee volunteering

In 2013, 3,640 employees donated almost 21,000 hours on individual and team volunteering activities which focused on regeneration, education, young people, charity work and the environment.

In the UK, Jaguar Land Rover employees spends up to 16 hours of work time on approved team or individual community volunteering projects per year. Many team projects involve physical improvements such as redecoration of community centres, creating sensory gardens or allotments, all of which improve facilities for the local community.

As well as helping the local community and strengthening Jaguar Land Rover's reputation as a responsible business, group projects offer personal development opportunities including the development of leadership and project management skills.

All external requests must be for organisations located within a 30 mile radius of Jaguar Land Rover facilities and must focus on education, young people, environment and employee volunteering to be considered by the Jaguar Land Rover’s Community Relations team.

If you have a community project which meets the above criteria and is located close to our sites in Castle Bromwich, Solihull, Gaydon or Whitley, please email details to Dolores Evans, Community Relations Officer -

Project enquiries near our Halewood Operations plant in Liverpool should be sent to Kate Birkenhead, CSR Communications Officer –
