Land Rover 4x4 in Schools Technology Challenge

Land Rover’s 4x4 Technology Challenge is an annual competition for 14-18 years olds to design and build a radio-controlled, four-wheel drive model vehicle that displays Land Rover’s all-terrain characteristics. Over the course of a school year, students research, design and manufacture their vehicle, and perform tests before they compete with teams from other schools at the competition stage.

The challenge emulates the same team and project principles used in our business and enables students to develop skills in project management, time management and marketing and help develop their written and verbal communication skills. The challenge is supported with National Curriculum learning modules which have been developed in line with the programme. Jaguar Land Rover provides guidance and support throughout the process by assigning at graduate STEM Ambassador throughout the duration of the programme.
